You are correct, it does seem stupid. Maybe it is a case of stupidity. You are right about the ammo. I have five guns and at least a hundred rounds for each one. More for the .22 and less for the .308 a case each for the shotguns. Thing about ammo, is that it gets old and you have to shoot it or throw it out. Mine is at that point. There are some folks around here that would make good targets but I shot all the people that I ever (or never) wanted to in Vietnam. I need to get rid of my old ordinence and buy some new. Shot a few of my rim fire .22 last week and 1/3 were misfires. Have you had a look at the new .17 cal rifle?

Speaking of the weather, ours was warm and nice until last week. My winter garden was looking good. Collards, onions, sweet peas, broccoli. We had a couple of days of weather in the teens and it burned some of my smaller plants. Sweet peas are looking sorry. A couple of the collards may not make it. All of the broccoli is wiped out. The only good thing about it is that I had missed some winter spraying and the cold gave me second chance. The weather has warmed again and it is time to lime.

I guess I look at the soil the way Donk looks at the government. I know that the soil will produce if it is taken care of and the proper nutrients are added. I am good at working with the soil but have no knowledge of how to cultivate the government. I guess I am like a plant in the soil and grow when nurished but have no control over the producer.

HELP, I've fallen and I can't get up! LOL

SG*
