In reply to: What the poster was asking 's message, "Yes, the dancer will pay ,but will the teacher have to pay something to put their dancer in a CLRG feis? If they don’t, seems like there would be no point in being a TC" on 18:09:36 01/05/26 Mon

If the teacher is not a CLRG TCRG then their dancer's could only attend feises that applied for and were granted permission to be available to Open platform.

Their students also, while being able to compete at some local Feises, could not dance at Oireachtas, Nationals or Worlds.

IT might be a way to allow smaller feises to make a bit more money, if there are non CLRG schools in their area. It might also be encouraging to non CLRG schools that are working on becoming certified by allowing their students to get a taste of competition dancing and prepare for a future when they are fully certified.
