Subject: A shoe vendor at a local feis told me the Gavin's by Fays are not meant to be an every day practice shoe. Just meant to be worn for majors and shows. Not built to last.

I'm not sure it's accurate but they recommended going back to the flexis.
I would say we noticed that she needs the Gavins by Fays more often then the old Fays and they don't hold up for toe work, but she does love them.
