Oh now I do recall, we were just getting to the part
Where the shock sets in, and the stomach acid
Finds a new way to make you get sick
I hope you didn't expect that you'd get all of the attention
Now let's not get selfish

"Well thanks for being my knight in shining armor, Colden." She stated wryly and not the least bit genuinely, shoving at his shoulder when he grabbed away her tag. "Give it back or I'm just going to go home without my jacket. For real." She crossed her arms under her chest and moved back another step when he reached out to touch her - she didn't want him doing that, or talking sweet, or doing anything else to try and stop her from being angry in that moment. "Maybe I am like any other girl here - kinda like you're like any other guy here." If he seemed to think she was too good for a guy like that and they both knew that she wasn't too good for him, she didn't see what separated him from every other guy out there too. He was perpetually draped in those bar wenches - every time she turned around he had a new one on his arm. It was hard for her to see the difference. For a moment she felt bad at the momentary look of hurt on his face, but she was too proud to keep giving in to him, especially today, and so she just stood up a little straighter - petite and stunningly pretty, but with a very serious expression darkening her features.
