Subject: She just smiled as she watched him disappear to freshen her drink and sighed in complete contentment when he returned to sit with her - he was so sweet and so thoughtful, took such good care of her. Murmuring a quiet 'thanks', she slid her empty glass to the edge of the table and then took a sip of her fresh drink before looking back to him again. She returned his brief kiss and then a hand rose to knead the base of his neck to tug him back down to meet her lips for a warmer, longer moment. She nipped affectionately as his lower lip and then loosened her hold on him and nodded a little in response. "Yeah, she seemed to be in a pretty good mood... She'll get him straightened out. She's getting pretty good at dealing with him."

'Cause it feels like it's a movie about losing
Only this time it's us
And we're counting on a surprise ending
Only this time it never does come

  • Jake was his best friend in the world and he worried about the other man like he was his brother or hell, even his son. It was ridiculous how much stress Jake put Adam through, not to mention his own family but Adam still loved him through it all. He just hated when Jake got so down on himself, it made him feel bad, like he wasn't doing enough to keep the other mans ego at a sufficient level which was ridiculous really, but they had always been so close it was hard not think like that. A low breath escaped his lips as he pressed a warm kiss to her lips in response to her previous one where he had been a bit distracted before he pulled back again. "Good..he needs some cheering up or..hell...just some good distractions.." (NT) -- Adam, Tue, May 30 2006, 12:52am PDT
