Her eyes followed him until he disappeared amongst the other patrons, and then she just finished off her drink and slid the empty glass to the edge of the table. She dug her car keys out of her purse and set them on the table, and then rested both elbows on the surface and her chin in her hands. She was totally ready to head home, but she thought it would be best if she just waited for him to come back to escort her out - she definitely wasn't sloshed, but she wasn't too sure if she had complete faith in her motor skills right at this exact moment...
