He didn't know why he was so surprised to see her .. he had known she would probably be coming back home for her summer holidays and maybe breaks in between. "Still up to that dirty habit, eh?" She referred to the cigarette - she remembered him trying to quit when he'd started keeping the baby, right around the time that she left.. and when she thought of the baby, she felt a bit of a pang - she might not be where she was now were it not for that baby.
