Subject: He grinned a little at her valley girl accent, only amused because it suited her so much .. and he remembered thats a little bit of how she once was, though not in a completely unbearable way. She didn't know if she had thought she could go away and when she came back, it would all be a big nightmare or what, but she supposed she hadn't expected the child to be such an integral part of his life - Adam had never shown a real comittment to much of anything during his life, maybe she was a little jealous that he could show it to this child, and it had nothing to do with her. She did her best to smile, it faltered a little at first, but worked it's way across her delicate features. "Wow, he must be pretty grown up now.." (NT) -- Kenny, Thu, Jun 08 2006, 9:21am PDT
