Subject: She frowned a little like she didn't comprehend the language he had just spoken in, her brow furrowed, before it dawned on her and she realized that he must have found out from someone that she didn't want to know what was happening with him. She screwed her mouth into a thin, straight line and let out a breath. "Adam, please don't do this in public, I mean it - It had nothing to do with you, and everything to do with me." She could sure use another drag off his cigarette right now - she didn't even want to be thinking about this, she'd start crying and then there would be no stopping.

  • He scoffed a little in disbelief at what she had just uttered " 'Don't do this in public', huh?" She was even too ashamed to be standing here with him by the sounds of that, he let out a ragged breath as he continued to glare at her as he forgot why he'd been pining for this girl over the past year "You're a fucking joke, Weaver." It had all been fine until she'd started lying to his face - he couldn't believe he'd been such a fool to think that she still wanted anything to do with him after he'd heard she didn't want to know what was going on in his life.
