Subject: He had the skill and the style- just not the passion anymore. He glanced over to her before cocking a brow and shrugging his shoulders "Lets be honest- you wanna see what I can do." With that he turned his board around and passled hard towards the shore- the strength in his muscles rippling through his upper body as he pushed and pushed- waiting until he was on the crest of the wave before he pushed himself up to a crouch on his board, , standing up as he dipped into the swell, manipulating and working it to his advantage. The scoreboards would be reading top marks if he wa sin a competiton- which was why he was where and who he was- but it was clear his heart wasn;t in it.

I fell in love
She was a goddess
With a world inside of her mind

  • She nearly laughed out loud when he made that comment - he had read her like a book - then again, that wasn't typically hard - she wasn't the brooding type - she told it like it was and when she wanted something, she asked, that was it. She leaned back on her board, propping herself up with the heels of her hands as she watched him move across the wave, almost mechanically - it was hardly flawed - in fact, much closer to perfect, but something was missing that she couldn't quite put her finger on. She sat back watching until he paddled back out, one brow raised as he neared her. "You're right, I just wanted to see. Curiousity did kill the cat, you know."
