Subject: "I don't know, because you're a big party pooper who hates to have fun?" As they approached the parking lot of the beach, even though the dark was quickly closing in on them, she sat up, her eyes drawn to the waves - it was this way everytime, she had drifted into the other lane of traffic more than once, just looking at the waves as she passed by, unable to take any time to stop. She looked back over her shoulder at him. "Can we stop? Just for a few minutes." She knew it sounded totally put on, this "one with the ocean" thing, so she didn't talk about it a lot - people thought she was a crazy most of the time.
In reply to: Aislinn 's message, "I once saw a man on fire, staring out his window - watching as the flames grew higher and higher. I thought that I saw him cry.. or was he only laughing as his life went rushing on by? And maybe we're just like him.. maybe we're all waiting, for a moment to begin.." on Sun, Aug 13 2006, 10:33am PDT

  • He tossed a glance towards the ocean and then her, before he merely nodded and swung the car off the road and into the parking lot smoothly. He understood how she felt... he;d felt that way once. But he'd just gotten board with it all... or grown out of it all... he wasn;t sure which- all he knew was the ocean didn;t hold the same allure to him that it once had. He turned off the engine and got out, going round and opening her door for her, offering her an easy going smirk. "Home sweet home?" He left her question unanswered for now... he'd tell her at some point... he just wasn't sure what to tell her yet (NT) -- Andre, Mon, Aug 14 2006, 1:31pm PDT
