  • That brought a smile to her face - thinking of them as soaked sea rats, hardly ever out of the water long enough for her thick hair to dry, and rarely finding a dry towel in the whole house. The gang of them had been lucky to have houses near the water or they would have been able to buy out every oil field there was in gas. She brushed off his comment about her - she wasn't doing anything, or if she was, she might have felt guilty that her motives were getting different results, meaning different things to him.
