Subject: Andre smirked a touch and nodded. He never really got any of that back home... his mum didn;t like to talk about the past too much, and his dad only ever talked about the future- about his future. "Its easy to forget where you come from...." And the people who were there with you. "Aparently you used to kick my arse all the time on the waves..." He smirked, glancing over to her, his aussie accent strong as he spoke. "I don't remember that."
In reply to: Aislinn 's message, "I once saw a man on fire, staring out his window - watching as the flames grew higher and higher. I thought that I saw him cry.. or was he only laughing as his life went rushing on by? And maybe we're just like him.. maybe we're all waiting, for a moment to begin.." on Sun, Aug 13 2006, 10:33am PDT

  • That drew another smile from her lips and she tipped to her side to place a hand on his chest reassuringly. "Don't worry, honey, I used to kick everyone's arse all the time. Still do. It must be your ego conveniently erasing that from your memory." This was more her realm of comfort, of conversation, teasing and playful, that was just her demeanor. It was hard for her to remember that far back as well, though, she had to admit -- she had had so many experiences, travels and met so many people in her short life that stuff that happened at the beginning was starting to fade.
