Kai had come home to an unsually quiet and empty house, which had immediatly send alarm bells ringing. At first thought of ringing the hospital, but had instead thought to call his parent's first- and was glad he had. He'd gone over there to pick the kids up and after seeing Maliik's battle scar and getting the whole truth out of Trinity he'd screamed blue murder at her which had her wailing the house down, and had his mother giving him disapproving glared. He'd had enough too... it may not be happenning to him but it was effecting him. He put the kids in his car and drove them home, lecturing Trinity the whole way home in an angry growl. Trinity could tell her daddy was more than angry and knew not to push her look, and just sat there and took his angry words with tears and hurt looks. He was still clueless as to where Summer was, and when they got in he tried calling her cell a number of time, to have no reply. After the kids were in bed, trinity still crying, he called Autumn and a few of their friends... Finally tracking down Luke who told him she'd borrowed a bike from the garage. There was little else he could do with the kids there at home so he just sat and waited, a brooding glare settled over his stoney features, jet black eyes glaring at the blank TV screen. Whent he phone finally called out her picked it up immediatly. "Yeah"

She let out a deep breath at his tone, knowing that he was angry with her just by the way he had answered the phone. "Hey, sorry...didn't realize my phone was off." She stated softly, shifting to push her way out of the bar and outside so she could light up a cigarette and be in a quiet area when she spoke to him. "What time did you get home from work?" She wasn't going to tell him about the whole ordeal that day, he didn't need that added stress and she wasn't about to volunteer that she had gone out on a joy ride and then out for a few drinks unless he asked her what she had been doing. She just tried to keep the problems that happened at home just where they happened at - home. She knew he worked hard during the day and made good money to support them all, she didn't want him worrying about his kids and wife on top of that. (NT) -- Summer, Wed, Jan 03 2007, 12:52pm PST
