Subject: (He looked at her as if she had insisted on tossing salt into his wounds.) I do what I have to Kelci, it seems we all do. (He jammed his hands into his pockets as he stood.) You shouldn't be alone though this, call me. (He insisted, looking towards the door as if it might hold his solace.) I need to get things set up down there.. finals.

  • "And look where what you have 'had' to do has gotten you - it made you lose your best friend." She shook her head, buttoning up her jacket and then tipping her head towards him. "I don't have your number." She stated honestly, if he wanted her to call, she would, not because she needed him there for support but because he had a right to be there. If he had said he wanted the kid, not to get rid of it, then she wouldn't have, if there was any chance for the baby to have some sort of life she would have carried but she knew she couldn't handle giving it up for adoption - which was selfish but what could she do - so she just was going to go through with this as planned.
