She pressed her lips together, her brow creased as she looked up at him. He'd always promised he'd be there.. she wasn't sure how a drunken night during exams had turned into a love so strong and binding, she had discovered a long time ago that there wasn't much really attractive or lovable about her, but he chose to love her nonetheless. She put a hand on either side of his face, her thumbs brushing over his cheeks in much the same fashion his was. "I'm putting so much strain on you, baby.." Her voice was hardly a whisper. She had done so well through dinner, and now she felt like breaking down again. She didn't usually turn to him when she had meltdowns, which frustrated the both of them.. she would soak in the tub for hours, or retreat to her parents' or to Charlie and Aly's, she didn't like to let him in because she figured it would put a lot of pressure and concern on him, but she realized that it did anyways, moreso, maybe, because she didn't share it with him.
