As he settled down beside her, a soft sigh escaped her lips and a small smile lit her features. Her gaze slowly shifted from the water to look up at him and she scooted over a little on the bench so that she was tucked up right against him. "Hello husband." She spoke sweetly and leaned gently against him, her eyes lingering for a long moment before looking back out to the beach again. "It's pretty cold for you to be out here..." Her tone attempted scolding, but it was hard for her to be firm with him - she just couldn't do it. However, it was awfully cold out here for him and she wouldn't let him stay out here much longer before they headed in. He lifted his hand so that she could settled beneath his arm and he could wrap his arm around her more comfortably. He dropped his lips to her temple, lingering there for a moment. "Dad said you were just loitering around work and he wasn't going to pay you for that." He murmured, teasing quietly as he looked back around at the ocean and the beach around them. "It is a little cold out." He stated absently, his eyes moving over her, his hand trailing over her shoulder.
