"Dad said you were just loitering around work and he wasn't going to pay you for that." He murmured, teasing quietly as he looked back around at the ocean and the beach around them. "It is a little cold out." He stated absently, his eyes moving over her, his hand trailing over her shoulder. She was so little herself, she didn't need to be out here in the cold, with their luck she would catch pneumonia.
