  • He just didn't know what to say anymore. 'It's going to be okay' or 'I'm sure he's fine' just didn't cut it now, and he didn't know how far from corrent those statements would be. Though he would have loved nothing more than to reassure little Mia and his beloved wife, he refused to give them, or himself, false hopes - it just made the truth hurt even more. Glancing down to Jas, he kissed her cheek softly and squeezed her fingers, then looked to Mariah. "I'm gonna call your daddy, honey..." As he left his wife, he smoothed a hand over the younger woman's hair and then headed to the phones - he knew that Cam would be at work by now, but would be anxious to be here with them all, so just wanted to call him and let him know he could just let Jimmy take care of closing and then come over..
