He looked between the two for a moment before he cleared his throat. "Bailey is out of surgery now." He began softly, looking over his files quietly. "I have to tell you, her condition is still not fully stablized but we were able to removed the bullet and eliminate any possibility of lead poisoning."

  • He smiled briefly, wistfully, at the idea - until the doctor showed. The air left his lungs as he waited anxiously for the news - her not being fully stabilized yet was a blow but was softened slightly by the fact that she was still hanging in there and out of surgery.
