Subject: She smiled softly before she ran her hand down the back of his head - already treating him like another son. "You wanna go get some coffee honey? Or you want me to get you some?" She could understand if he didn't want to leave her. "I assume you'll be staying with her when she gets out of here?"

Don't know how we've lasted here so long
There must be more good than bad
Or we'd already be gone
And if you get up to heaven
Before I do, I'm gonna tell you
It's gonna be cruel there too

  • He lingered there for a moment - clearly torn. He didn't want to leave her at all, but he was getting so tired and coffee just wouldn't do it for him... Running a hand over his head - he stood slowly, pausing a moment to kiss her cheek. "Just give me like... 20 minutes?" That would give him time to run home - but then he stopped and frowned gently. Not only did he not have a car, but his apartment was like taped all - and that worried him for a whole other set of reasons. His hand resting at the base of his neck, he shifted from one foot to the other - anxiety setting in as the reality of his dilemma set in. (NT) -- Colin, Fri, Aug 13 2004, 10:55pm PDT
