I think you misunderstood me or perhaps I am misunderstanding you. What I meant was that the other idea was that the common peoples fear started the witch hunts. I personally agree with an author named Jamie Wood (Teen Spell Book. Magick for young witches) in that what probably happened was that the common people already had fear and the higher church members fueled the fire so to say.

Well, I am not sure if I agree in that but then again I was not there and am not sure how the two religions interacted and therefor I can't say if that would have changed anything or not.

I am not quite sure what to say to this other than I know of a people that have been told the exact same thing as I have who are much older and it has almost become cliche.

If I thought any of them would listen yes I would go back into the church to help them be more understanding.

I hope there are many others like us trying to teach equality and understanding of all religions rather than just there own.
