So, what are your journalist friend's intentions when thet distinguish between American deaths and the deaths of all others? Why the hell do they do that? Why do Americans care so much about the three thousand people that died in the WTC, but not at all about the thousands of Iraqis that have died in this war that we started? hmmmmmmmm?

Now, I made a mistake I suppose when I said that culture's would dissolve along with nations and that that was a good thing. I address that as well in my response to your other most recent post. However, you took me out of context and you knew damn well that was not what I meant. I was talking about resolving conflict, not assimilation. And I would ask you, who would assimilate to what if there were no boundaries anymore? Would not everyone be free to experience the world in the fullest way possible, being fully aware of all the other perceptions and interpretations of experience out there - not just one tiny little preserved, isolated world view? Do you really feel what you say, or do you just want to antagonize me. Basically, all I did was repeat the sentiment of John Lennon's song, "Imagine." Now, maybe you are not the biggest Beatles fan, but do you really think that John Lennon was writing a song about his desire to all world's variety destroyed?
