I'm REAAALLLYYY curious to see what Joss is going to do with Angel and Buffy...I'm just hoping he doesn't screw us over like every other relationship on the show. I agree, Kyser, Buffy has become extremely tough emotionally. I think that's because she doesn't want to expose herself to being hurt again and again by seeing her friends get hurt or being forced to choose between them and saving the day. However, it makes for a very unsympathetic character for most people, which is part of the reason Angel is a better character and show.
