Hi folks! It's been a long time coming, but I'm just surfing the sites to post the news that at long last, the NEW online version of the BCR Fan Database is finally up and accessible at

Gals, I know y'all probably think that all I know how to do is apologize but I am so sorry that I have not been able to keep up with the board this year. I keep thinking that SOON my life will slow down and I can get back to the fun stuff like this board...but it just ain't happening. I do plan to be back, I just don't know when. I will try to pop in as I can, and if anybody has any suggestions for the board, feel free to email me or just post them. I think about all of you that I have met thru the boards often and miss being able to play. Hopefully I will talk to y'all again soon.

Hey gang, I just wanted to ask for prayers for a friend of mine. Her name is Alicia and I
just found out that she was in a freak accident over the weekend and is paralyzed from the
waist down. They are doing surgery tomorrow to "clean up" around the vertebrae and
then will start rehabilitation. She is only 25 and just got married last year(I think). Her
husband's name is Marcelino and is not accepting the news well. Please keep them and
her whole family in your prayers.

What's shaking? Your hips to the BCRs I hope! LOL!!!

Has anything new been going on in your lives? I am currently trying to work through a computer problem, but it seems to be expanding a bit.

I did find out that it doesn't have a virus or worm, so that is good news. However, I did something that was recommended to me and I lost quite a few bookmarked sites, which was not a good thing to do.

Anyhow, I was just checking in and trying to find out what has been going on with everyone else here!

What prompted Woody's move into the celtic music genre and out of the pop/rock scene? (Obviously it's been a very successful venture...) Does the heart of a rock & roller still beat quietly and slowly beneath the surface?

I just visited Barb's Derek board!

My computer has been acting up, actually quite a bit, recently and all my time on it has been spent searching for answers.

Hopefully, it doesn't have a virus or worm! Yikes! It has gotten the Sircam and the Kakworm before and I NEVER want to go through that again! LOL! Perhaps it has the SARS virus? Who knows!

I could not log on to Kim's Wonderful Woody Board for three days in a row! It was updating or something and it was the same for your board too.

Tonight I tried to get to your Derek board, and that worked, but when I tried to post, it gave me a time out message!

I wondered if anyone has heard that Tam has made news again?

On January 17, 2003 I happened upon a tiny article in my local newspaper that mentioned Tam Paton and another fellow. Of course, I cut it out and saved it.

Today I looked up "Tam Paton" and this is what I found in reference to the article that I cut out of my paper.

OK, I have a request...my computer at worked crashed before the Christmas holidays and I lost most all of my pics of Woody. :'( If'n you could, could I get y'all to send me pics. I had him all set up as my screensaver and everything. WAHHHHHHHHH!!! I have saved just about everything on the Purely Pictures website...so, pretty please. I don't want them to post anywhere, just to have on my hard-drive for my personalized screensaver.

Hey guys! May I have your attention please?
We have enough so far for 3 1/2 guys....PLEASE send in your fest fees. I need to get tickets before they get more expensive! Without your fest fees I cannot get the tickets; without the tickets I cannot bring the guys over...and that's a fact. If there's not enough to get tickets by the end of January I'm not getting them....simple as that. I'm sure you all think that "Oh I have lots of time yet", well the reality is we are working on a deadline here. PLEASE people let's get a move on! I have 40 some registrations sitting here waiting for payment..if you send payment then it would all be a done deal and we can move on to other things.
Fest fees go up on Feb. 1 to $70 ... isn't that incentive enough?

Fact is, time's a-wastin' and Marianne is doin' her dangest to get everything under way but....She ain't whistlin' Dixie when she says she needs those Fest fees to get in. She's got some of 'em but not quite enough. It's good and all that to have the registrants but everyone's gotta help 'er out a ....She's workin' on gettin' those plane tickets and everythin' paid for so those happenin' dudes can perform some serious RS music for us'uns. She cannot do it alone, plain and simple, and she's done all she can to make it easy for everyone to pay...aka PayPal. I sent mine in via money order, though.
I don't know about y'all but I'm lookin' forward to the Fest...I plan to party, tour the city, wreak mayhem and harass the RS guys and I know youse guys can relate to that goal. C'mon y'all! It's a reality, sho'nuff! Almost Party Time!

I hope that everyone had a safe and Happy New Year. Here's hoping that this will be the best year ever. Not sure what can top meeting my sweetie and my Very Bestest Friend and Twin, ya know who you are :-), and finally seeing a Real Life Roller, even if it wasn't Woody :-(, this year, but we'll see. Hard to believe that in 2 days it will be the 1st anniversary of the Woody Board. Boy time flies when you are having fun. I am going to try and do something special for my anniversary on the board, so if you come by and it looks strange...that would probably be me playing with it. :-)

Hi all, I am once again having to apologize for being AWOL again. It just seems like life throws things at you all at one time. I have been so busy with work, life, sleep...that I just haven't had time for the internet. I am really hoping to be able to get caught up on some things over the next week or so while I am off from work. It's hard to believe that it is almost a year ago that I started this board. January 3, 2002. Who would have ever thought that thru this board I would make some of the best friends ever. Thank you all for keeping my board going in my way, way, too long absence.
