I don't know where he gets his numbers but I would put mine at not even close to a 1/4th of that number. For instance, I do not use natural gas at all and what I do use for gas goes only to a tankless water heater that I use maybe, if I am lucky 120 lbs of propane a year. My electric consumption in less than 100 a month and my garbage output is maybe 1 light trashcan full every 2 weeks. I generally only eat once a day. All maintenance and car work I do myself.

What is coming won't effect me too terribly.
