Subject: Daughter and kids were here

I had some duplicate dvd's and offered them to her. She said she doesn't have a dvd player and uses online services for any movie she wants to watch. It stupefies me the onward progression of technology. From a wire recorder to today, incredible. I decided some time ago that I wasn't going to change my tech anymore. We have records, cassettes, vhs, dvd, cd,s. No longer want to upgrade and spend hard earned dollars duplicating what we have already into the new tech.

Btw, what is the advantage of paying online for something versus keeping a stock of audio/visual that you like. Do you have to pay twice when you want to see Rudolph the Red the next year?
