Subject: The city, in the beginning

In the beginning men and women came together searching for a new start where they could enrich themselves of the soil. All had lived in the east where due to some unknown trait pioneers and their stock decide to leave the trappings of civilization and become freed men once more. Freed from the encumbrances of rules and taxes layed down by the local administrators.

These pioneers did come together and for a while there were only local mores to bind settlers together. There were no list of rules or taxes to be paid that came later when through a need for centralization of services a township board became necessary. Years pass, the township became a county, then towns and cities grew up where once was fertile land and the spirit of the first to come, the pioneers was forgotten.

Administration of towns and cities passed on from the control of the locals to a complex system in and of itself became impossible to keep alive without more and more regulations, personnel and taxes. We know why it happened, it came about because of the Henry Potters of the world. The finagling of the governing system into some kind of beast through some well placed contributions (bribes) helped the people with money to keep what they have and then scoop up whatever resources that was lost by the citizens, lost assets due to mismanagement and bankruptcy.

There came a time when big money became more than greedy. More rules were passed to enable big money to keep what it had gleaned from hard work on it's part. Mental corruption, like a disease overpowered the once well intended money class. More was desired, more wealth, more power. There came a time when wealth and power were not enough. Henry Potter wanted a Pottersville. Henry grew richer and more powerful on the suffering of the once proud working class. He needed more to keep his suffering mind happy.

Henry Potters of this world dedicated themselves to possessing it all. With a bit more contributions (bribes) placed in the right hands more rules and taxes followed. It became a nationwide agenda formed in colleges across the land. Need more, more, more, and then it came about. The abuse of governing managers led to a downfall in the economic ability of the lower classes to pay for all the largesse that was fawned on them.

This became the big payday for the moneyed interests. Now the Henry Potters could buy up massive amounts of property for that movie fabled 50 cents on the dollar. They will own everything, once well kept neighborhoods turned to slums. Decay and decadence together, that oxymoron of a coupling now was the norm. Beautiful cities turned into the Delhi's of the world where poverty and plenty grew side by side.

And so it came to pass, the moneyed interests now became the overlords. At the same time the governments of the world became corrupted the lower classes need to have their spirituality broken and it was. So what do good overlords do? They put on the cloaks of compassion and benevolence to come down with mighty words of wisdom, declaring to the world their forthright Godliness now gives them the right to decide who lives, who suffers, and who dies.

Here we are today. The cloaks of compassion and benevolence have been thrown off. There is no need to act like patriarchs. That which had been sown will now be harvested.
