Wednesday night at 9pm. They are saying he will be talking about his project in the Ninth Ward in New Orleans. They are accepting questions to Brad on CNN.
Others are saying that Brad will announce that he and Angie have married and they are now man and wife. Funny, I think more people would tune in to hear about that rather than his charity work in New Orleans. Maybe that is why they are leaking that info that Brad will confirm marriage on this show.
Simplybrad has new pictures of the celebrity couple touring the Ninth Ward yesterday. They look like common folk in these pictures. She looks plain and I must say sickly. Ad how nice, Brad has a smug smirk on his face wearing that stupid hat that is attached to his head. I suppose these pictures are a good thing, they look like an ordinary couple that just so happens to have the focus on them to show the world how caring they really are about others misfortunes. I am sorry, I can't help but roll my eyes. Of course the two of them have to been seen out and about embracing the people who lost everything there like they are the saviors sent for them. He should wipe that smug look off his face if he wants "anyone" to ever take him serious.
I did summit a question to the show. Lets see if they use it. But my guess is they won't because Brad won't have the answer to it. All he will focus on is the now because putting a bandaid over important issues is the only way they can make an impact.
I have also heard that the reason he is coming out with this now is because he is plugging himself for the awards season. I have to say, with the smug expression on his face in the picture I saw, they could very well be right. Maybe his expression is to the studio heads as to say, you paint a bad picture of me, all i have to do is show up and embrace the people of New Orleans to counter all the bad press he is getting. I don't know, it is all too transparent to me. I wish they would stand down for a while with all their do gooding. I want to believe the finer points of Brad, but then when we see a picture of them, he looks like a cocky fool using this situation for good press. That is my honest opinion.
Bottom line for me is, if he is helping the people there to get a fresh start, good for him, but why is it so important to have all the media attention on it? How does it help anyone else to show how he is making a difference there? Surely his inner circles could fund the project single handly. There is a fine line to the celebrities using charities to gain attention for themselves and the only thing I can do to that is shake my head and say, "We all have our own cross to bare in life." I wouldn't want the weight of that on my shoulders in the end. To me that is what it means to take the Lords name in Vain.
Bottomline is, I get a much better vibe from Brad when he stays out of the center focus of the project. It appears he needs some big pat on the back for doing it with these most recent pictures and that is so very tacky to me.
So much for defending him, he makes it impossible as he looks like exactly what they say he is, an ego driven diva. Maybe they are right about Brad Terry and we are the ones who are blind to it. Hum, I like to give him more credit then that but it is difficult sometimes. I guess I need a pep talk from you now Terry! Any thoughts?
