The pageant, if its new to you, has NEVER just awarded the 1st place to the best looking for the simple reason that looks alone will get you nowehere. Rachael won that nite bcos she stood head and shoulders above the rest in displaying how a potent combination of both wit and beauty will triumph in the end. Perhaps if u can (n ihope u will)get out of your shallow mentality and judge a person (man or woman) on the strngths of their personality (and oh brains) - you will appreciate that there could only be only winner that nite which thankfully had goine that way. What's this love affair with Ms HK - it happens every year- at the risk of sounding anti-hongkie - ms hk, if u ask me, was not bad but mediocre and certainly pales alonside KL, bangkok, sydney , vancouver and toronto...the fact that she's got 2nd - she should count her blessings [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
