1) I watched the post-game show the thursday after the TOR pageant night and an organizer/judge/whatever said that "Christie's beautiful but too bad she's not a couple of inches taller". That's probably why she lost to Van. So there ya go.
2) Christie said "I dunno" as an answer to her question. What was that? She could have said "You don't see immediate results on every part of ur body. Losing weight does not happen overnight". Something like that is much better than "I dunno". Isn't Christie supposed to be "intelligent"? Like ya'll said.
3) For the talent. Judges wanna see something diferent other than ur typical singing/dance. FTV news showed a clip of Van playing the cello and i was impressed by the 5 seconds i saw. Points for da cello player unless u have an voice that can woo the judges.
4) I know that everyone has their own opinion and i don't mind some comments about Van "like chubby legs" but saying that she looked like she gotta nose job is rude just b/c ur mad that TO lost!
5) Van tried too hard to get attention. I would do that too. Why not? I'm not gonna sit and watch someone like Christie getting all the focus and bore myself. Not everyone gets to go to MCI and u go only once. Have fun, make the best out of it.
6) "Christie is so nice and perfect" Do u know her personally, huh? Same w/ Van how do u know she's fake? U can't get to know a person just by reading a few lines in a newpaper. Christie spoke highly about da other girls at MCI, it doesn't mean she's nice. Either who wins none are 100% pefect.
7) Finally, the lamest excuse that Van shouldn't have won MCI is that how her shoulders looked!(I can't remember who said it) "Shirley's shoulders shrugged together during the crowning of Miss Van as she'd waved but Christie looked so perfect during her crowning". Look at Christie's catwalk, it wasn't so great either. Ur catwalk is more important than how ur shoulders looked. At least Shirley waved.
The judges liked Miss Van, so be it.
