Hi i am 22yrs old and my bf and i had sex with a condom 5wks ago but when we stopeed having sex the condom was on his leg so i dont know if it came off during or after we were done having sex anyways, I have been peeing every 10 15 mins or so and feeling lightheaded and my stomach is tightening a lil bit i took a test last week but it was negetaive i have been having cramps like im about to start but nothing happens. could i be pregnant??? Ihave also been more tired latley for no reason

Dear Nina,

The thing you need to ALWAYS keep in mind is that anytime you have sex, you risk getting pregnant. I have talked to lots of women that have gotten pregnant in the most amazing and almost impossible (seemingly) ways.

That being said, you did have a negative test result. If you were careful to follow the directions, that should be accurate and you can contribute your symptoms to oversensitivity or a virus, etc.

However, I would dtrongly recommend that you get a pregnancy test if you don't start your period soon (like, if your more than a week late). You can go to a pregnancy center for a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL test - look one up near you at this site:

I really appreciate these centers, as they seek to really help you. I had a very negative Planned Parenthood experience and don't like to send women there.
