Praise be to Allah.

Celebrating Birthdays of anyone is not from the Sunnah of Rasool and to do so is Bidah (Innovation). If celebrating the Birthday of the prophet(saw) were a good or acceptable thing to do then the sahabah would have done so and the Prophet(saw) has said:

"Anyone who introduces something new into this deen will have it rejected" [Bukhari and Muslim]

Also, before the Prophet(saw) died he informed us to not make the same mistake that the Chirstians and Jews have done which was placing their Prophets on levels higher than what they should have been on.

Inshallah we pray Allah protects us all from Innovation and keep us on the path of the Quran and Sunnah...
