As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Praise be to Allah.

All of our answers on this board are based on Quran and Sunnah.. we dont use anything else and if you do not recognize this then perhaps you need to study what Quran and Sunnah are.

In regards to how to treat magic:

You should note, may Allaah bless you, that the Muslim should strive to keep away from the whispers of the Shaytaan and from imagining things, because these are things that cause anxiety and feelings of misery. It is not correct for a person to attribute everything that befalls him to magic or to the evil eye. But if a person notices an unnatural change or something usual happening, and he wants to be sure whether this is caused by magic or the evil eye or he wants a remedy, then the way that is prescribed in Islam is ruqyah (recitation of Qur’aan or du’aa’) as prescribed in sharee’ah and based on the Qur’aan and Sunnah and on sound, understandable du’aa’s. A man may recite ruqyah for himself, which is best, or he may go to someone who will recite ruqyah for him, so long as the raaqi is a righteous person who follows the Sunnah. This is the correct way to deal with the evil eye and with magic, by calling upon Allaah and seeking healing from Him, for He is the One Who decreed that the problem should happen and He is the One Who is able to remove it.

AND ALLAH KNOWS BEST
