AS Salaamu Alaikoum,

If it is true Istahada the woman continues to pray fast and perform her other duties but please be advised. Istahadah is a very RARE DISEASE and it is from the Shaytaan. Many women think they have istahadah and they do not. Just because your period comes early or changes its days or just because you bleed long does not mean you have Istahada. Again Istahadah is VERY RARE.
