Assalaamu Alaykum

I want to know if u ask for a khulah and it's granted, could you take that statement back. could he take u back or do you have to wait until your iddah is up. I heard that the iddah is 30 days, and I also heard it's one menstrual cycle. Also once your iddah is up do u have to do a new nikkah, or do he simply just take u back as his wife. Are u still his wife while in iddah or not, and does he have to leave the home immediately? Jazakallahu khair

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

If a woman divorces a man (khula) there is no going back and you have to fulfill the term. If you want to be with him again you would have to remarry him after you fulfill the term of divorce, as long as it is not your second time being divorced from him. In that case, you would have to marry another man and consummate the marriage with him and then divorce him to remarry the other man again.
