As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Again we encourage you to join the classes at the website to learn the basics of your religion. The virtues of fasting was the topic for the Tawheed class for the past 2 weeks. Also answering questions for a person is not the same as a person learning about his religion live. So do try to join the classes and participate in the learning especially during this holy month of Ramadhan of which the rewards of engaging in acts of remembrance of Allah with a group are doubled.

In regards to your answer, if a person misses a salat due to oversleeping then he can make that salat up as soon as he wakes up. When fasting, oversleeping for fajr does not break your fast either. You simply fast as your intentions to do so said you would do..
