I don't think pulling in the right arm will work for anyone. When you pull in the right arm you pull in the right hand and the left hand as well. This causes you to bend the left arm, the opposite of what it should be doing. If you try to keep the right elbow as far from right shoulder as possible it pushes the left arm straight, how it should be.
