I do not believe that we have ever allowed proxy voting. As far as I am aware only the votes of those who make the effort to attend the AGM are eligible.

In the past we have read letters out from people who cannot attend but no external votes have been included.

If you have strong views about the direction the Association needs to take the AGM is the time and place to express them but once the votes have been cast by those present the Committee should be supported in the actions it takes on your behalf.

If you cannot attend (like me this year !) then that is unfortunate but you can write to the Committee asking that your views are expressed and allow those members present to vote having given due consideration to your comments.

I personally wish all those who are prepared to put themselves through the rigors of life on the Committee the very best of luck as I know from experience that they will need it !

Have a fabulous time in Wales !

Regards

Paul
