“RING RING RING” Helen turned over quickly and picked up the phone. “Hello, Helen Speaking”. “Yeah I know” Helen sat up, it was Tiffany her assistant down at the tack shop. Helen looked at the clock 5:45 time to get up. “Well what’s up” Helen said rubbing her eyes. “well…the order forms for the bunch of saddles we were getting got back ordered and are all messed up so we will have to do them over but I don’t know the passwords to the files on the computer since you changed them so you will need you come over and help me.” “Yeah OK I’ll be over in about 20 minutes” “K thanx” Tiffany replied and hung up the phone. Helen stood up and walked over to the closet she put a pair of boot cut jeans & a cream colored long-sleeved silky blouse. She put on some thin stocking socks and ankle boots with 2inch heels and went into the bathroom. She put on a touch of make up did her hair in a bun on the nape of her neck and surveyed herself in the mirror. She looked pretty and professional which was good she had to go to some interviews.
Helen walked downstairs listening to someone in the kitchen. When she got down Jacob was sitting at the table eating some cereal. He looked pretty good except for the fact that his hair was tousled. Helen lent over and kissed the top of his head. He smiled and went on eating she started some coffee and left a note for Eric on top of the coffee machine and grabbed black hand bag. “Brush your hair before school and have a good day” Helen said as she walked out to door “I’ll brush my hair but Mr. Princeton wouldn’t let me have a good day if it was my last” Jacob replied. Helen shook her head smiling slightly. Jacob was having troubles with his rather unpleasant social studies teacher. Helen got into her SUV and drove into town to the tack shop.
She swung open the door and put out to open sign. Tiffany was sitting at her desk behind a mound of papers. She peered over the top of them and saw Helen “Oh hey” Tiffany said getting up and coming over. She had long flaming red hair slightly curled and blue eyes. She was about 20 with a good build and nice personality. She was wearing a pair of black jeans and a bright blue halter top. ‘Morning Tiffany” Helen said. They walked over to the desks and sorted out the mess of papers and the befuddled files on the computer. After they were finished Helen left. She knew she was lucky to have Tiffany for an assistant. Helen drove to the bank and dealt with a few things their then she went to talk to Mal and Jade at the racing office about entries and scheduling etc. She also went to the feed store and got some bags of feed for the horses at GRF b/c their wholesale food shipment was taking longer then it should and they needed some feed. Then Helen got into the SUV and drove home!
It was 12:00 when she got home and the kids were at school. She walked in and made lunch for her and Eric. He walked in from the barn a few minutes later and smiled at his wife. “How was your morning?” He asked “Busy” Helen said, setting the food on the table and turning to her husband. Eric hugged her and gave her a kiss. Then they sat down to eat. When they were done Eric cleaned up and Helen walked into the living room. She kicked off her boots and lay down on the couch. She flipped on the TV and watched a show jumping competition that she hadn’t had the time to go to! She watched Saddle jumping Shining over the course and a few other FC members. Then she fell asleep and Dana flew through the course with Calypso. She was awakened suddenly as a large white shape flopped on top of her. She woke with a jerk. It was her HUGE husky, Aleu. The female thought she was still a puppy at the age of almost 2 and the weight of 140 pounds. “OFF” Helen said firmly and the pretty dog jumped down. Then a wave of canines came sweeping into the room. Helen stood up and walked through them stumbling a few times. All 16 dogs followed her into the large computer lounge room and flumped in a pile on the floor except “her” dogs. Bingo sat faithfully beside her, Kris fell asleep in her lap and Sniff, Chip, Punk & Twinkle flopped on top of her feet. While Dizzy chased her plumed tail in circles until she fell down. Helen opened a draw and pulled out a folder titled “Dogs Registration Info”, She opened it looked through them updating a few things,

Helen closed the folder and put it away. Then she looked up at the clock, it was 2:00 an hour and ½ until the kids were home so she would have some more free time. She went to the kitchen table(Followed by the 16 dogs) and looked through the mail that Eric had brought in…..
