Well, I didn't see it when it was originally broadcast (I didn't become an X-Phile 'til midway through season four) so it's hard for me to say what I *would* have thought if I'd watched it then. Rewatching it, I'd say Scully was. . . not exaclty jealous, maybe, but I think it was probably the first time she took a long hard look at Mulder and thought "Wow, he's a hunk!" rather than thinking "This guy is an alien-obssessed kook!" So I think it was probably the first time she was really aware of Mulder on a sexual level.
