I think you could be right Rabid, CC always has to leave things open and when he did close something it always sucked. Like the whole Samantha story, totally disappointing after so many years of build up. I thought that would be a series finale ep, the finding of Samantha.

I watched a little Millenium and from other fans I talked to, it was great until the end of the second season. There was a cliffhanger involving a doomsday diease being released. The third season opener totally down plays this like it didn't happen, kills off Frank's wife and has him rejoin the FBI with a female partner. They made an X-Files variant. The third season ended with cancellation before the event the show was supposed to be about. The Millenium group seen in the show was vast and into many conspiracies. So the wrap up on TXF was very weak after the show had built up a much bigger scenario. However, most fans had abandoned the show in S3 anyway so it didn't matter. The only thing resolved was Frank reunited with his daughter. Frank was a great character, I wished he could have become a semi-regular on TXF but a failure is quickly put to rest I guess.

So LG gets the same treatment. Not really resolving the show and ending the characters since we the fans didn't show enough support for them in CC's eyes. I wouldn't have minded a death scene if it made sense. If it hadn't seemed so pointless.
