Subject: Perhaps CC should take a page from James Cameron's book.

Cameron created Dark Angel, another show I watch faithfully. Early this season -- only the second season!! -- the show really began to drift from the original concept. Some of the characters we had the first season were majorly sidelined, if seen at all. The last few eps have drawn those characters back in and made them part of the story. Some of the promos for the end of the season say that Cameron himself is directly the season finale. Maybe the difference between Cameron and CC is that Cameron has a clear vision of where the show is going and how it will end.

My point being, that perhaps Cameron realized the show was not following the path he wanted. Perhaps he listened to fans who complained about the missing characters. Who knows, but it sure feels like he's more involved now and that the show is back on track.

You writers can tell me if I'm right or wrong here, but isn't the ending the hardest part of the story? It's one thing to have a great idea and great characters, but how do you resolve whatever conflict the story is about? I always think of old Saturday Night Live skits (probably the current ones too, but I don't watch anymore). Really funny stuff...except the end was usually lame.
