This episode did nothing than make me very angry. Scully would not just 'give away' William. She would pack up and leave with him, opting for a life on the run over giving away something that she wanted desperatly. The only saving point is the 6 month law. Isn't it true that the birth mother has 6 months to change her mind?

It just doesn't make sense.

We all know Scully is smart, the script tells us so, THEN WHY DO THEY KEEP WRITING HER LETTING STRANGERS, WHO HAVE OBVIOUS CONNECTIONS TO THE ALIEN CONSPIRACY IN HER HOME.

You would have thought she learned after the caregiver. But no, she let the total stranger in who she met on the street. Please, aint buying it. She could have easily sent Doggett and Reyes to get the files. They wern't hidden that well. Unless she didn't want Reyes to see how many pairs of shoes she owned. Ya, that must be it. She doesn't want her FBI partners to know she has a closet shoe fetish. Pun intended.
