Subject: Well. That was kinda anti-climatic.

I just thought this whole ep seemed half-hearted and had holes in it large enough to drive trucks through. Except for Doggett who seemed to be acting his heart out, no one else seemed all that interested, including me.

Has the entire FBI taken a naive pill? If any of you walked into somebody's room and the entire wall was plastered with pictures of dead people, would you think:

A. Hmm. This guy is a possible serial killer/weirdo. Must inch my way back toward the door holding a gun on him the entire time. Or...
B. Bet he's fun at parties! Or...
C. Omigod! He must be a psychic channeling for dead people! I WILL believe everything he says.

Well, OK. He was C. That isn't what most of us would believe however. Even if he was an FBI cadet which would of course be a heavily screened position. Wait, I was wrong. ANYONE can get in. Even if they're schizophrenic. And have this really weird, humorless affect. Which a lot of people with schizophrenia have, by the way. WHICH IS A DEAD GIVEAWAY THAT THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEM.

Besides all that, I still really don't understand why the assistant director Brad (has Monica absolutely no taste in her ex-boyfriends? She must not have been psychic a couple of years ago. And she saw him take a kickback and she still dated him?! Go figure.) was so involved with the murderer/mob guy. That didn't make any sense. And it didn't make any sense to me that Brad would then shoot him in broad daylight in front of witnesses.

Also...I'm wondering when Doggett had so much contact with his ex-wife. These people must have really rich personal lives that we never see since his ex-wife mentioned something about Doggett getting together with Monica. And I still have a real sense of disgust that all these people have to have romance with their work partners. Argh.

While I'm on a roll, was there a reason that Doggett and his ex had to stand in the waves with their shoes on and getting their clothes all soggy at the end when they released Luke's ashes? Couldn't it be just as serious a thing if they'd taken off their shoes and rolled up their pants? I swear, this episode was so annoying.

Anyway...while next week's ep would normally intrigue me, I'm really disappointed that it looks like we're only going to have one ep that is supposed to tie up all the loose ends.
