I traveled from Ohio to Summer Jam in my van with two other friends, and picked up a third friend in Niagra Falls. Much of the trip, as well as the weekend, is pretty blurry. Hash was our constant traveling companion, which explains the blurryness. I remember the "duck" vehicle and the rain, a little of the Dead, and more rain. I've never seen such a sea of humanity in one place. I made my way back to my van on Sat night, only to find 5 or 6 people inside. One was girl named Karen who had some outstanding smoke, so I spent the rest of the night in her sleeping bag in my van. I think we talked, among other things the whole night. She was from Philly and was in school at Penn State. She went looking for her brother the next morning and I never saw her again. One of my friends separated from us on Sunday and we ended up leaving without him. He showed up back in Ohio about 5 days later. He apparently got some bad acid and couldn't remember where we parked. I always wondered what happend to Karen.
