I believe I was on board for the Easter 1972 school
cruise, although I remember the itinerary as, board ship in Venice, Piraeus, Heraklion, Valletta, Tangiers, Lisbon and Southampton...
I saw an entry on the Facebook site that listed this as cruise #275. I know I have some photos stashed away somewhere. May have had more memorabilia but I left the UK in 1977 and likely left most of it behind. Force 10 gale through Bay of Biscay, which I sat out in the common room, as it felt worse below deck in our dorms, which were located above the water tanks.. boys from my school drinking Ouzo from the bars in Greece. We also had students from Kennilworth, Warwickshire: German students, other British schools.. we were from Eccleshill, Bradford, Yorkshire. Long time ago some memories very clear, others gone.. we were all given little blue pills in case of seasickness- blue bombers..
