Hi. I was on this cruise with Cardinal Newman High School, Bellshill. I can remember standing looking at the inner wall between West and East Germany and the soldiers on patrol in Lubeck.I was only 14. We had to hand over our cameras to teachers as we approached Russia. No photographs allowed until we reached Leningrad.The weather took a turn for the worse but the ship wasn't allowed to sit in the dock...security measure ! We did get a performance from a Russian ballet company.On to Helsinki, just beautiful, great chocolate and then a change of destination from Fredericia to Copenhagen due to the delay. Yes I do have photographs but need time to dig them out from my father's attic. So many memories. Current thoughts and prayers are with Ukraine.
