From Tilbury to Visby, Leningrad (with optional trip to Moscow via train), Copenhagen and Oslo, returning to Southampton after a stormy crossing.Memories of swedish girls in Visby and buying my mum a tea strainer. Had a talk from Valentina Tereshcova - the 1st female cosmonaut and her husband, can,t remember his name but he did the 1st space walk. Bottle of vodka on the train to Moscow, became a communist for a bit. Evening time in Tivoli gardens and some amazing bubble fountains, and the sail up Oslo fjord. Loved every minute, one of my golden memories. All came back when I saw the old girl laid up near King Harry ferry on the Fal, tinged with sadness to see the transport of my dreams rusting away. Bit like I am.
