Snoop,
Good to see you back in cyberspace. I think you misinterpreted the intent of my post. While I am prepared to play the march set on pipes this Saturday, the fact remains that as I sit here 3 days before the contest, we do not have a bass drummer. I think this would be noticed by the judges, no matter how fabulously I was playing in the pipe rank.

So while I will continue to try and get the medley off the ground in time for Hunter, I remain committed to doing whatever is necessary to give the band the best chance at scoring well. If that is playing bass, so be it.

I do appreciate the encouragement, though.

BTW I saw that it is going to be 102 degrees today in Scottsdale. Is it really a dry heat?
